Welcome to Chabad at UConn

DSCF1175 (2).JPG

In the Summer of 05, the Hecht Family of Brooklyn, N.Y. moved to Storrs, CT to establish Chabad at UConn.
Chabad at UConn was founded to meet the needs of over 1,500 Jewish Students at UConn.

Guided by the vision of the Lubavicher Rebbe to reach out to all Jews regardless of affiliation, The Hechts are building strong friendships and connecting to hundreds of students. As one students put it, "Chabad is the best thing that happened to me at UConn", Ben '06.

Social mixers, Shabbat and holiday dinner, lectures and personal classes are just a few examples of the diverse programming you'll enjoy at Chabad.
